Product Detail
Crafted from one bud one leaf raw materials silver needle white tea gets the name from the shape of the leaves and the colour of the tiny hair. Our silver needle is produced by a small farm, which allows us the keep the high quality of it. The production process of it is very simple: getting the materials dry under very light sunshine and dry them with a little bit of heat from the fire. The whole process requires a lot of skills to control production. The tea polyphenol from white tea is a natural antioxidant. L-theanine helps you to keep calm. The flavour of this tea is very light with good consistency. The tea soup is clear with tiny hair from the tea leaves which represents tender row tea leaves.
White tea was used as medicine in ancient China. Even now, when people have a cold, or a sore throat, they have some white tea. We have a saying in China, one-year-old white tea is tea, three-year-old is medicine, and ten years old is a treasure.
Instruction for Preparing
The way to brew it is simple. There isn’t too much hustle. You need about 5g for a 150ml pot or Gaiwan. Use boiled water and keep the tea in water for 5 seconds for the first infusion. You can keep doing this until the flavour becomes lighter. Then add a few seconds to each following infusions until the tea can’t be brewed. You can boil the left tea with water for more if you like. The tea tastes good when you just boil it.
