A full moon is a lunar phase that occurs when the Moon is completely illuminated as seen from Earth. This occurs when Earth is located directly between the Sun and the Moon (more exactly, when the ecliptic longitudes of the Sun and Moon differ by 180 degrees).
Full Moon always represents release, fulfilment and renew. The full moon in Chinese culture means reunion and regathering. It casts an exuberant vibe, making it a great time to have a tea ceremony. A ritual is added to the ceremony. We’d ask all of you to write down anything negative happened recently, put them in envelopes and throw them away.
The event includes:
Write down and throw away
A guided meditation on New Starts (about 12 minutes)
A formal tea ceremony with 3 quiet cups of tea (about one hour)
Healthy snack will be served during the two tea.
Time: 2-4 pm, November 2017
Location: August Moon Tea, 3rd Floor 60 Goose Gate, Nottingham, NG1 1FF
