When traditional Chinese tea ceremony meets stylish English bar on the Full Moon Day, what will happen? We are taking our tea table to a local bar called The Pillar Box in Sherwood on 5 September.
Full Moon always represents release, fulfilment and renew. The full moon in Chinese culture means reunion and regathering. It casts an exuberant vibe, making it a great time to have a tea ceremony. A ritual is added to the ceremony. We’d ask all of you to write down anything negative happened recently, put them in envelopes and throw them away.
The event includes:
Write-down and throw-away
A guided meditation on energy restoring (about 12 minutes)
A formal tea ceremony with 3 quiet cups of tea (about one hour)
Healthy snack will be served during the two tea.
Time: 5-7 pm, 5 September 2017
Location: The Pillar Box, 566 Mansfield Rd, Nottingham NG5 2FS
Ticket: £15/pp (15 tickets)
