Welcome to August Moon Tea

August Moon Tea aims to bring the fresh air and sunshine from the tea field to our tea ceremony and create a peaceful and exquisite ambience for all of you.

Tea not only brings people closer but also helps us to reconnect with ourselves. It’s a natural elixir for our souls.

Covid-19 Diary: 25th March

Wednesday, 25th March, Sunny

I have decided to keep a diary to record my life during the outbreak of covid-19. It will become a special part of my life.

You can feel the start of spring as the temperature increases. We could have been out to embrace the sunshine. But we are required to stay in to save people’s lives and release the pressure of NHS.

Tea is such a good companion when it comes to times like this. It grounds us and comforts us. I would never have thought that I’d be staying in all-day and having tea with my partner. Now it is happening.

It has made me quite sad to see some selfish people walking around like being on holiday. Bad times show true humanity. Why can’t people just stay in their houses and support health care workers? Why do people have to stockpile food that they can never finish? Every day we see a new biggest increase in the number of confirmed patients. Greed and selfishness are our worst enemies. Some people are losing their basic standard of how to be a human.

A tea ceremony is much needed in our lives. It brings us peace and sanity. We learn to look after each other from the moment you sit down other people to experience it. We also appreciate the simplest things in our lives when we slow down. It is just to live, to be able to visit our loved ones and walk freely outside to enjoy the blue sky.

Sadly, I am expecting to see a lot more confirmed patients later today. But I am also hoping this will end soon. Covid-19 probably can teach us at least one thing, life is too short to waste on unimportant things or people.

Stay safe!

Tea of the day: 2011 aged white tea. Such a sweet and moisturizing tea for a dry spring afternoon.
