Welcome to August Moon Tea

August Moon Tea aims to bring the fresh air and sunshine from the tea field to our tea ceremony and create a peaceful and exquisite ambience for all of you.

Tea not only brings people closer but also helps us to reconnect with ourselves. It’s a natural elixir for our souls.

An Evening at BBC Radio Gloucestershire

It is always about stories when we sit down with tea. Conversations flow naturally without too much effort. We talk about tea and enjoy life.

On 14 January, we had the pleasure to be on BBC Radio Gloucestershire to share the stories of August Moon Tea.
It was such a great experience to talk through the microphone with the evening host Jon from the radio.

Last Friday, Maddie contacted us to see if we would like to share our story on 14th January. Without hesitation, we said ‘yes, of course’! After going through some details for the day, we quickly arranged everything.

They are a bunch of lovely and professional staff who kindly welcomed us and helped to set up the tea wares in the studio.

As the live interview went on, Estelle was doing the tea ceremony and talking through the process, the culture and her storIes being in the UK as a student firstly and a business owner later. There was a subtle change in the vibe in the studio from being hectic to peaceful. In the end, more people joined us in the studio, tasting the beautiful Lapsang Souchong and appreciating the special moment.

It is always about stories when we sit down with tea. Conversations flow naturally without too much effort. We talk about tea and enjoy life.

We really appreciate this unique experience to share our stories with the listeners. We hope you enjoy the interview as much as we did.
